Dental Implants

Dental Implants

Dental Implants are an insertion made from titanium or its alloys, which are placed in the jaw to act as a support for a tooth, crown or denture. With time, they fuse themselves to the jaw bone and act as basal support for the concerned tooth or denture. Dental Implant therapy is highly effective in replacing wobbly teeth into place, as well as giving dentures a better and sturdier fit in the jaw. With time, as the bone shrinks, lower dentures become loose and move around, making it uncomfortable for the wearer. Also, for fitting a bridge, the adjoining teeth need to be drilled to sit in the crown. If the teeth are healthy, then that isn’t good for them. In such cases, dental implants come in very handy. Although it is a costlier treatment than most others, it also lasts much longer.
